I sold my first eBook in 2007 on Etsy.
My shop sold original primitive hand embroidery patterns. The designs were drawn by hand on a light box tracing photos from my collection.
My customers were begging to know how I did it. The next design I made I took notes on each step of my process. Those notes turned into my first book.
It was a true labor of love but it took weeks to create with the tools available in the early 2000s.

This could become a signature style that sets you apart from other creators in your niche.
Chapter Pages
Graphic chapter pages are excellent visual dividers of information in your eBook. Avoid putting chapter headers on the text pages and opt instead for another way to make your book stick out from the competition.
Content Pages
Use headings on every page, break up the text and use photos on most pages. Create several variations tailored to your content, aim for 4–6 page layout templates to choose from.
Vary your pages with lists, fill in the blanks, journal blocks and photos.
Other Products Page
The last page of your eBook should be a decisive call to action. Link images and text to specific funnels in your business. Lead them by the hand to purchase another one of your books, courses or products.
